Instead, browse and look for the folder MSI within the contents. Right-click on the.exe file (from which you want to extract an.msi file) and from the shortcut menu choose 7-Zip Open Archive. (Compressed folder is OK, but either of these programs offer a lot more options, including the ability extract files from some, but not all, installation packages (.exe).)
